Hello, I’m Lorna. I've been working with clients for over 15 years. I work from my clinic in Jesmond and online, offering therapy to clients worldwide. I bring warmth, care and a human approach to explore with you both past and present challenges affecting your mental, emotional and physical health.
Areas I focus on are Trauma, PTSD, Anxiety and Depression.
People come to therapy for many reasons. Sometimes there’s a clear issue to work through; other times it’s just a feeling that something isn’t quite right. We’ll explore what’s going on for you and what you would like to work on together to create change in your life.
My approach includes the body as well as the mind. As the phrase “The Body Keeps The Score” suggests, our experiences don’t just live in our mind, brain & thoughts, they’re felt physically too.
I see mind and body as connected. Emotional stress and trauma can be held in the body, and over time, this may show up as physical symptoms or illness.
I’m a neurodivergent affirming therapist with extensive experience working with neurodivergent clients (ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia).
I offer online and in-person sessions from my clinic in Jesmond, near Newcastle, and work with clients worldwide.
