Thank you for being here, my name is Sarah. I have over 20 years experience in nursing and mental health. I am a counsellor and also a children's mentor. I welcome anyone who is curious about understanding themselves, their emotions and the experiences that have shaped their journey. You may be feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, stuck in patterns you don't understand, or seeking support through times of change and uncertainty. Together, we can gently explore what has brought you to this point, develop greater self-awareness and self-compassion, and support you in moving forward with a strong sense of self.
I offer person-centred Emotional Therapeutic Counselling, creating a space where you can explore your experiences at your own pace. I have particular interests in childhood trauma, childhood experiences, inner child work, emotional regulation, anxiety, trauma-informed support, neurodivergence and the impact of feeling misunderstood or needing to mask.
This first step can feel huge. You may feel unsure where to begin, what to say, or whether you will be understood. You don't need to have everything figured out before reaching out to me. I welcome you to start wherever you are, at your own pace, in a way that feels comfortable for you. The Hope Cabin is a space to grow into everything to already are.
