I am a highly experienced chartered Clinical Psychologist, specialising in children and adolescent mental health and family/systemic intervention. I have worked across the NHS and independent sector for over 15 years and use evidence-based practice across the lifespan of treatment, supporting clients whose experiences reflect the full range of severity and complexity of mental health.
I predominantly use a creative and child friendly approach, adapted according to age. The main interventions I use are Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Family Systemic Therapy and Non-violent resistance as well as drawing on other psychological approaches. I am flexible and will see adult clients who may benefit from CBT.
I am a calm, compassionate and approachable person. I believe it is important for you and your family to feel comfortable and confident that I can help you find a way forward. I work in an ethical way. If I think another person/approach would be more appropriate, I will discuss this you.
