The impact of difficult life experiences can adversely affect our mental well-being or interpersonal relationships at any time in our lives.Such life occurances may include truama, a bereavement or experiencing anxiety and depression. I use a person centred approach to develop a therapeutic relationship with you. This helps over time to support you in gaining insight and understanding of the emotional and mental difficulties you're experiencing. I provide a safe space to listen to you and identify the best therapeutic approach to meet your needs.I offer both face to face and online therapy to suit your individual needs.
I am Jo Augustus.I am a HCPC registered Art Psychotherapist with over 26 years of clinical experience. I am also a UKCP registered Clinical supervisor offering supervision to students and professionals, and a qualified EMDR therapist, registered with EMDR Association UK. I also offer reflective practice to teams and organisations and talking Psychotherapy.
My person centred approach is further influenced by psychoanalysis and attachment theory models. Working with truama informed approaches also inspires my practice. I am here to help. I also offer reduced fees for trainees/ students. If you have any questions about any of the services offered, please do contact me on the link provided.
