We're The Empathy Project, a non-profit community mental health service based in Southampton. We provide open-ended, high-quality counselling and psychotherapy to anyone who needs it. We do not have a waiting list and you can have as many sessions as you like. You only discharge when you feel ready, and are always welcome back at any time. We are a small team of counsellors and psychotherapists working with all types of issues. Every member of our team is a BACP Registered Member and has been trained to a very high standard, and each have a minimum of three years clinical experience. We work with young people, adults, couples and families. No issue is ever off limits to us.
We are an independent service and do not receive any public funding. Any profits we make are reinvested into our Community Fund, from which we provide reduced-cost or free therapy to people in financial distress. You can choose which of our therapists you'd like to work with, or complete our referral form and we'll match one to you based on your needs.
