A warm welcome to you. My name is Carolyn. I worked with children and families for local authorities for over 30 years before training as a psychotherapeutic counsellor and hypnotherapist in 2019.
Seeking the right therapy is a daunting task and this may be your first step towards ridding yourself of deep seated memories, feeling, emotions and reactions that are impacting negatively on your quality of life.
I specialise in working with adults who feel stuck and overwhelmed by negative thoughts linked to anxiety and depression. I offer Couple Therapy and support people to overcome low self esteem, addictions and phobias.
We are all unique and no one persons healing journey is the same as another's. I will listen to you to understand your specific needs, and work with you to help you achieve your goals. I use Solution Focused and Person Centred therapy, CBT and Hypnotherapy.
I am able to offer face to face counselling in my therapy room, as well as online sessions.
Feeling heard is often the first step towards healing. In our sessions, you will find a compassionate and non-judgmental space where your feelings and experiences are validated.
Beyond our sessions, you will have practical tools and strategies to help you manage your day-to-day life more effectively and maintain the progress we achieve together.
