The Anchor Practice is a private mental health service specialising in the treatment of children, adolescents, young adults and families. Our clinicians have trained to the highest standards within the NHS, and have many years of experience providing clinical work in NHS CAMHS teams, as well as teaching on academic and clinical university courses. At The Anchor Practice we offer thorough assessment and treatment for a wide range of mental health difficulties, and a number of our treatments are currently recommended in NICE guidelines. We have particular strengths in treating adolescent depression, mood disorders in childhood and mental health difficulty in fostered, adopted and looked after children. Additionally we have clinicians experienced in the field of perinatal psychology, offering tailored evidence based support to expectant mothers- and fathers-to-be.
Our clinicians area available on the phone to talk through any concerns you might have about your child's mental health - a clinician will respond to an initial phone or email inquiry within 48 hours.
