Hello and welcome. I am an experienced Counselling Psychologist, and have worked for over 15 years as a therapist, including in the NHS, the charity sector and in private practice. I feel privileged to share in my clients’ life journeys and to support them in a flexible way. This often involves a combination of the main therapeutic approaches and an emphasis on experiential work, and the use of art and creativity. I can help you with a wide range of issues including low mood, depression, anxiety, stress, disability, relationship issues, identity issues, family problems and difficulties you may be facing in moving forward in life.
Counselling offers the chance to slow down and have the time to talk about issues in your life that you may never have spoken of with anyone. You can really feel heard and explore at your own pace and help shape the therapy process to suit you. This can be a wonderfully powerful process, and can lead to real change.
I am also a keen artist and enjoying bringing art and creativity into my work. My main approaches are Experiential, Humanistic, Psychodynamic and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), as well as the Mindfulness approach.
