This is where professional counselling can help. I know choosing a counsellor is difficult, there are many of us to choose from, but finding someone who is the 'right fit' is crucial for counselling to be effective. I appreciate that for some people it may be daunting to talk to someone who doesn't know them, and it can take time to build up trust in the counselling relationship but I will work at your pace.
I consider myself to be friendly, down-to-earth, empathetic, warm and able to connect with children and adults alike. I offer integrative counselling meaning I use a variety of methods tailored to your unique needs but my approach is mainly person-centred rooted in the belief that fundamentally you are the expert of you, your experiences and your feelings.
I offer face-to-face, online or telephone counselling sessions. If you feel I may be able to help you or your child, please email me. I aim to reply within 24-48 hours and will offer you a free 15-minute introductory phone call where you can ask questions, talk about why you'd like counselling and together decide whether I could be the 'right fit' for you.
