About

Are you a parent, teenager or child looking for support from an experienced and compassionate counsellor to work through challenges and reach a better place? We offer both counselling and coaching and tailor our service to your needs by working with the individual child or teenager, the parent or both. We are experts in treating common psychological problems faced by young people today. We create a safe and comfortable environment in which they can explore these issues. As well as being highly trained psychotherapists, we are also parents with plenty of real life experience of navigating the challenges that family life can bring.
Our approach is collaborative and creative and designed to empower our clients to successfully negotiate the future. We bring a variety of approaches and skills but have been most influenced by the following – gestalt; mindfulness; arts based therapies; attachment theory; positive psychology and CBT.
Whether you are a child, parent or young adult, we are respectful of how daunting it may be to open up to a stranger and we are committed to providing a warm, welcoming and non-judgmental space. We are passionate about the work we do and are 100% committed to our clients and their potential, and clients appreciate our warmth, authenticity and compassion.

TeenMatters's Groups

TeenMatters

We are a group of 3 psychotherapists/ counsellors living and working in London, who set up a practice together called Teenmatters, offering specialist support to those at the beginning, middle and end of adolescence (which extends to the mid 20s) as well as to parents supporting their children through this period of transition. We set up our practice specialising in this demographic as were aware of the challenges and distress faced by many children, teenagers and their parents (such as family breakdown, school pressures, social media and relationship challenges) but also aware of the lack of provision locally.
