Tanya Beetham currently has a waitlist for new clients.
I work with adults and young people (16+). My clients come for a range of reasons. I have experience working in a range of settings with clients who have different goals/needs. However, most of my experience is with clients who have experienced trauma. Usually this work is around supporting clients to work through or process the things that cause them distress, and exploring what living more fully or meaningfully looks like, so that they are less impacted by things that have happened in the past. I welcome all enquiries, and I welcome students and trainee therapists.
I offer humanistic integrative counselling & psychotherapy. I draw on a range of theories and my starting point is that you are the expert on the stories that you carry. I work at a pace that suits you, on the issues that you feel are most relevant. I am also an Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapist.
If you think I am a person who you might like to work with, please do get in touch via email and I aim to get back to you within 24 hours. If we are considering working together, I will invite you to have a 20 minute free phone consultation so we can establish whether we might be a good fit, before deciding if we will book a session
