I am an experienced Psychotherapeutic Counsellor offering a safe space to support you with insight and a deeper understanding of what is troubling you. You will be listened to with empathy and without judgement. I am fully qualified and hold a Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling. I have experience working in the NHS Sussex Cancer Centre Psychological Therapies team, counselling clients that have been affected by cancer, terminal illness, trauma, depression, anxiety, bereavement, and many other issues. I am a registered member of the BACP and practice in accordance with their code of ethics for Good Practice.
My therapeutic approach is Humanistic, and I see every client as an individual. I believe each and every one of us is unique - and so are our challenges and the ways in which we can overcome them. Drawing from your experience with your life and my learnings from different modalities of psychotherapy, we will explore a tailored approach that works for you.
Working in a humanistic way means that I trust your ability and intuition, you are the expert of your own experience. I will help you to become more aware of unhelpful patterns in your life and support you in changes that you are looking to make at a pace that is safe and comfortable for you.
