My inspiration for this career stems from a desire to connect and communicate with people. This inclination has been a thread throughout my life. Having undertaken Counselling myself I have directly experienced the cathartic and powerful change it brings about. I work with both individuals and couples/relationships. Developing a trusting relationship and being aware of what happens between us is core to effective therapy. We work together to help identify patterns and themes of your view of the world and yourself in it to help you recognise your strengths and talents. Counselling improves your self-awareness and insight and in doing so this will help you to feel differently about yourself and life.

I draw upon a variety of skills and approaches depending on the needs of the client. Using Somatic and mind/body approaches, Psychodynamic framework, IFS parts work, Attachment therapy, Mindfulness.
