I am a Clinical Psychologist currently working in the NHS and private practice. At the heart of my practice is cultivating a warm relationship with my clients that allows them to feel heard, validated & respected. I aim to help them develop a deep and practical understanding of their struggles & a focus on the steps needed to make change. I have expertise in working with depression, anxiety, relationship problems, stress, burnout, health issues, bereavement & family strain. I additionally have a particular interest in exploring sex, sexual health and sexuality. I have worked extensively and affirmatively with LGBTQI+ communities.
In therapy, I utilise an integrative approach and believe in staying in tune with people’s individual needs. I work with people's experiences, skills, and values, as well as provide them with techniques informed by a number of therapeutic models. These include CFT, ACT, CBT, Narrative Therapy & Systemic Therapy.
I aim to provide my clients with a space that is respectful of individual differences and ways of living. I work sensitively and inclusively, considering how a person’s ethnicity, race, gender, religion, sexuality and/or gender identity might play a role in the ways that they are struggling.
