If you are reading this, I sense you are seeking someone to discuss an issue you may have with alcohol or substance misuse and other compulsive behaviours and/or struggling with anxiety and depression, which may or may not be connected to the compulsive behaviours. These problems may also impact your various relationships, which can cause you to feel guilty. The thoughts, feelings, and emotions one is left with can make dealing with daily life difficult. Therapy begins to help you make sense of and understand your why of it all.
My purpose is to help you make meaning out of the confusing problems and consuming issues in your life. Sometimes people have come to therapy because they need to remove their finger that has been the metaphorical plug from the overwhelming dam of problems they have experienced and now need to let that go. Others need a space to talk.
I think the most important part of therapy is that you can come to know and understand yourself better. Making time for yourself and your need to talk is the most significant thing you can do to change your relationships, your career, and importantly you. Not easy but not impossible. I hope we can meet soon
