I am an accredited therapist providing support to both individuals and couples. My approach is Pluralistic which means that I work collaboratively with you. I believe that we each have different needs at different times and my approach is as individual as you are.
I offer Supervision to both trainee and qualified counsellors working with couples and adults. I create a supportive environment to help them reflect, explore and develop their work.
I use EMDR to help work through and process traumatic events and developmental trauma.
Our relationships are constantly evolving and sometimes we find that we get stuck in the same argument or that we cannot seem to communicate as well as we would like to. I consider your relationship as my client and I will work with each of you to identify and break unhelpful, historic patterns to help you communicate your needs within the relationship.
Whether you are an individual looking for support or a couple struggling to communicate, we will work together to explore where you are stuck, help you identify what needs to change and how you can make change happen. My work is rooted in Attachment Theory which holds that our past relationships influence our present ones and this can leave us feeling stuck.
