Hi there. Thank you for looking at my profile.I specialise in working with adults who are struggling to accept and come to terms with potential life changing neurological conditions such as stroke (including aphasia), TIA’s, Parkinsons, epilepsy and those who are neurodiverse. It can be difficult to talk to those close to us for a variety of reasons but perhaps it’s just that sometimes we need to be heard without judgement or fear of hurting our loved ones. I have a level 5 Diploma in Counselling Adult Trauma.
As a fully qualified person centred counsellor with over 16 years’ experience I offer a relaxed confidential environment where clients can feel safe, respected and listened to without judgement. I have 16 years experience of working both in the NHS and the third sector. I was fortunate to speak at the Stroke Alliance for Europe conference in Porto in 2020.
