Most people come to me asking how to cope better, often after years of adjusting to a life that turned out harder than expected. What once kept you safe can be what wears you out now. Your anxiety can look like conscientiousness and reliability; it can also be exhausting. What I'm curious about is why coping became the whole project.
I'm a Counselling Psychologist (a title protected by the HCPC), working mainly in trauma-focused Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, with mind, body, and emotion together.
