Hi I'm Jen, as an autistic therapist I understand first-hand how exhausting it can be to navigate a world designed for neurotypical ways of thinking and communicating. I'm here to offer a warm, accepting space for you to let go of your worries and start to face a brighter, happier future. Just deciding to embark on your therapy journey is a difficult decision so if you've made it and find yourself here.....amazing! It's the first step and you can relax and know that I will walk alongside you supporting your quest to heal, exploring strategies that work for you as an individual where your experiences are seen and valued.
Feeling like you don't belong in this world is a familiar feeling to me, I do not always fit well into most peoples normal. I can fully empathise with feelings of alienation, despair and not good enough. I'm proud to be able to offer all my clients a sense of belonging, and calm, to feel understood, heard and most of all accepted for who you are.
So, if you are looking for a place of acceptance and affirmation, to feel truly heard and validated my aim is to help you experience that in my sessions. My aim is to make my clients feel safe and supported, to be able to let out the feelings we are often told to push down or get over, explore them together and find the sunshine in our lives again!
