Individual and Couple's Counsellor. Are you feeling anxious, depressed or stressed? Do you have low self esteem? Do you have communication problems in your marriage/other relationships? Taking the first step in reaching out for help is often daunting, but I will be there to support you. Counselling can lead to exploring other options and choices in your life, whilst rediscovering your unique qualities, and who you really are. I find my clients notice improvements in their lives after a few sessions.
I am an Integrative Therapeutic counsellor (MBACP) working with Adults/Young People from 16 and couples. Integrative means that I combine elements from Person Centred Theory and Psychodynamic Theory modalities. I have some training in CBT and Transactional Analysis. I work collaboratively with my clients, to find their individual attributes and strengths.
I can help you explore your life, relationships and feelings by listening and hearing you in a different way to others in your life, leading you to gain a deeper understanding of yourself by identifying and changing unhelpful negative patterns. I can help you explore these, in a non judgemental and safe space, building on your inner strength and resilience.
