Welcome, I’m Suman a qualified therapeutic counsellor, registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). DBS checked I work with adults, young people & teens aged 13+, offering therapy online across the UK or face-to-face in Guildford or Odiham. Anxiety, ADHD, bereavement, fear of rejection, interracial relationships, self-harm, low self-esteem, depression, trauma, childhood trauma and grief are some of the areas I have experience in. Being an integrative therapist, I draw on different therapeutic approaches to suit your individual needs be it CBT or Solution Focused Therapy or Person Centered.
As a person of Indian origin, I also offer culturally sensitive therapy informed by a holistic approach to addressing issues that matter to you. My values of respect, integrity, and trustworthiness are reflected in my humanistic philosophy. I offer free 20-minute initial phone consultation which gives you a chance to ask questions and clear any doubts.
My therapy space is Neurodiverse and LGBTQ+ friendly. My approach to counselling is of compassion, empathy and acceptance in a safe, judgment free space. I cerate an environment to empower and support you develop a deeper understanding of your feelings. I'm a trauma informed therapist working in a way that makes your counselling sessions unique to you.
