I am a registered and accredited therapeutic counsellor of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) working with individuals and couples. I am insured and hold an enhanced DBS certificate for adults and children.My aim as a counsellor is building a therapeutic relationship with my clients on mutual trust whilst providing a space where you feel listened, comfortable, and supported whilst we explore together as you find a more fulfilled future.
My broad practice has involved working in the charity sector, volunteer sector and privately. I have over 6 years’ experience working for a Mental Health charity, I have worked in various schools as a school counsellor, Peer support for a postnatal women’s group, volunteered for a youth agency and domestic violence agency.
Therapy helps you discover and understand your emotions more clearly. Counselling is a journey to support and empower you to find the resources you may need to find your own answers and pathway. Counselling will provide you with a safe space to talk to someone independently, without judgement or criticism and speak about anything openly at your own pace.
