I work with adults and have a lengthy career history working across a range of issues. I predominantly use trauma therapy to help clients move forward but utilise a range of tools as required. In private practice I have worked with adult survivors of childhood abuse, sexual abuse, domestic violence, sudden death, accidents and suicide of loved ones.
Clients may be unsure as to what their needs are, they simply want to feel better. We will explore this and identify targets for our work together.
The initial discussion/meeting helps us to establish if I'm the right therapist for your needs.
I have worked therapeutically with individuals for over 30 years.
My passion is working with trauma including complex trauma. I utilise EMDR, Rewind and Unblocking Techniques to help clients 'take the charge out' of past events that impact on today. I also use CBT techniques and Psychoeducational work as and when required to help the therapeutic journey.
Sessions take place in a private therapy room located in a tranquil garden overlooking fields. Specifically designed to create a safe, relaxing and confidential environment, client feedback has been positive.
