About
Coming to counselling is an adventure! It can be immense fun and incredibly inspirational. It can also be hard and will certainly make you take a good look at yourself! If you want to make changes in your life then counselling is one of the most effective ways to do it... and I will help you along the way, walking alongside you, giving you support. It is a great privilege for me - and I deeply value the vulnerable person (within all of us) that counselling helps to find the courage to reveal. I work with kindness, warmth and respect, and our relationship will become strong - yet I will challenge you - but in a caring and gentle way.
I work very creatively, adapting my style to you the client - inviting you to use images, work with your inner child, use figures... and more and I will work using a variety of modalities (I am an integrative counsellor). At all times though you decide what we do. My job is to attune to you and your issues - and help us find ways to resolve them.
I have over 6 years of counselling experience, as well as a lifetime (63 years) of my own growth and learning - as we all have! I love my job - it's meaningful, inspiring and interesting - as are all my clients. Choosing a counsellor is tough - it's a big commitment - financial, time and the courage it takes. So, I offer a free session for you to decide.
