I am accredited with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) & hold a master’s degree in Systemic Psychotherapy. I also have additional training in Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy (EFT). EFT is a non-blaming approach to therapy which pays attention to how our thoughts, feelings and attachments impacts our interactions, behaviours and relationships. I offer a safe space for couples and individuals to explore presenting issues in order to better understand themselves, each other and their relationships.
I have worked therapeutically with individuals, couples & families since 2008. Previously working as a Learning Disability Nurse. I have over 30-years experience within the NHS & mental health settings. Professional Memberships include: International Center for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (ICEEFT) & British Emotionally Focused Therapy (BEFT)
I have regular supervision and ensure ongoing professional development with regular attendance at additional trainings & workshops.
