I work with women who may be feeling overwhelmed by life's challenges. I have experience of working with a range of emotional experiences, including the impact of past trauma, depression, anxiety, bereavement, domestic abuse, sexual abuse, family issues, self-esteem, life transitions, menopause and fertility issues. I offer a confidential and supportive space to explore your concerns, gain different perspectives and understanding of what you might be feeling. I am an integrative humanistic therapist and work holistically, focusing on emotional experiencing.
My focus is to provide a confidential and non-judgemental space in which you can give a voice to your experiences and feelings. Through this process you can gain clarity and focus, explore options and identify support networks. Sometimes this process can include gentle movement or creative exercises in sessions.
An important aspect of counselling is the therapeutic relationship between client and therapist; I offer an open and trusting space in which you can voice and explore your experiences to gain clarity and movement towards understanding of self .
