Hi, I'm Sue a clinical psychologist who qualified in 2010, after completing a doctorate in clinical psychology. Since then, I have worked with adults with a wide range of well-being needs and mental health difficulties in the NHS and in private practice. I am used to working with couples, as well as individuals. As a psychologist, I use my training and skills to develop highly individualised interventions that are based on your unique circumstances. I primarily draw on ACT, CBT and EMDR in my individual work and EFT in couples work.
I believe the foundation to any helpful therapeutic work is having a safe, respectful and non-judgemental space. I will take time with you to explore your current life circumstances and difficulties, to help you to understand how these developed, and to decide how to move forward.
I will also support you to recognise your strengths and resources, so that we can build on these together to help you to improve your well-being and meet your individual goals.
