As a psychodynamic psychotherapist I am committed to helping people understand their symptoms as communications of their distress. It is the root of the distress that needs to be understood and brought into the light, in order to reduce the impact of unresolved issues on the client’s daily life.
I can offer long term psychoanalytic psychotherapy to people who want to develop a greater understanding of themselves or who may be in training as therapists. I also offer time limited short term interventions, based on psychodynamic principals and some solution focused therapy techniques. I am alsoa UKCP registered supervisor.
