Taking the step to ask for help is often the hardest thing we do. I think as adults we feel as if we "should be able to cope" or "others have it harder" and that in some way needing help or someone to talk to in difficult times is showing a weakness. We invest time and money in keeping our bodies in shape and while that is the vehicle that gets us through our life we need to care for our other parts too. Our emotions and our relationships constantly need recognition and yet we only seek help when we reach a crisis point. So whether you are at a crisis point or struggling with anxiety, depression or a bereavement I am here to help.
There is no "one size fits all" approach to therapy, instead we work together and I learn your personal journey. My modality is Psychodynamic and my roots lie in linking past experiences to present difficulties that may have started in your younger years but are often an accumulation of unprocessed events and experiences that have been carried on with you.
