Experienced Clinical Psychologist previously in a lead NHS adult therapies role, now a trauma lead within CAMHS (children and young people), offering CBT and EMDR within a holistic, person-centred and integrative approach.
I often see people who have found that their previous experience with therapy, perhaps within the NHS, did not meet their expectations and found the way it was delivered perhaps too inflexible and manualised. I help you get to the root of the problem(s) quickly and gently. I am actively involved in research publications:
Simply understanding the problem is often not enough. Just talking about it is often not enough. Clients need solutions that are safe and effective but above all, works. I use experiential exercises involving boundaries, centering and grounding, accessing deep, embodied resources and reconnecting with our authentic selves.
