I am a fully registered and insured counsellor, having qualified in 2011. I have worked for local charities both before and since qualifying and have been in private practice since Oct 2016. I have extensive experience of bereavement and loss, PTSD, trauma. I also work with providers of Employee Assistance Programs, providing short term focussed therapy for a range of issues, including low self esteem, workplace bullying, relationship issues, depression and anxiety. I am also a qualified hypnotherapist and have previous experience of phobias and smoking cessation.
I am trained as an integrative counsellor and this means that I can tailor the theory and techniques to you the client on an individual basis dependant on the issues presented. As I am also qualified in hypnosis, elements of this can be incorporated into any therapy sessions, i.e. relaxation techniques.
I run my practice from a room within my home. I am based a short walk from the railway station in Kidderminster. Therefore easy access from surrounding areas of Worcester, Droitwich, Hagley and Stourbridge. There is also easy access via the road networks as I am based off the Bromsgrove road coming into Kidderminster.
