About
I have 14 years of international work experience both as a pastor and a psychotherapist. I specialise in helping clients manage difficult relationships, overcome trauma and relieve anxiety. Clients find me to be approachable, curious, insightful and realistic in my counselling methods. I relate particularly well to men and women who are hesitant to attend counselling. Convinced that relationships are the avenue to lasting change, my goal in therapy is to create a safe therapeutic relationship that provides a setting for clients to experience healing and empowerment.
I respond to a broad spectrum of issues including depression, anxiety, unwanted sexual behaviour, relationship struggles, anger, trauma, burnout, unresolved family issues and more severe mental illnesses. In addition, I provide couples counselling, professional coaching and debriefing services.
It takes a lot of courage to reach out to a counsellor and I like to honour that courage with transparency. If you’d like to reach out beforehand, I’ll walk you through all the needed information and answer any questions that you might have. My goal is to make this process transparent so that you can walk into our first session knowing what to expect.
