Clients I see and work with bring a range of relational difficulties and traumas which present in very individual ways. Parents often feel judged when they are doing the best they can under difficult circumstances, and trust in others becomes unsafe. Children may struggle with anxiety, behavioural difficulties, withdraw, not trusting adults and feel isolated. Children want to feel safe and secure in their world with their family to thrive and flourish, and parents want to provide these for their children, but can find they need some support during difficult and challenging times in their lives.
I have worked in Clinical Psychology for 13 years specialising for 9 years with children 0-18 and their families. I offer a safe non-judgemental space for carers and children, individually and together to make sense of these difficulties. I use attachment based, integrative therapeutic and relational approaches to help you make positive changes.
I can offer a therapeutic relationship of listening, clarity, sensitivity, compassion and empathy with adults and children, through a reflective and relational interaction, to feel better understood. Please do get in touch for a free 20 minute discussion and any queries about structure of sessions and appointments. Thank you for looking
