You may be struggling to find a way through the difficulty you are facing. In Counselling/ Therapy, we will work together to understand how you got to be where you are in your life , to explore what is working for you as well as what you would like to do differently. You may not be familiar with trusting someone with your difficulties, I understand that. My hope is that you will find me to be patient and compassionate, bringing honesty and sometimes humour, and that we will build a therapeutic relationship that will help you to understand yourself and empower you to make any changes you need to live the life you want

I work from a Relational, Integrative perspective. This means that I combine different approaches to understand how our previous experiences might impact our current relationships. I also bring over 30 years experience, from other professional roles, of supporting people experiencing major life transitions. I do this from a trauma informed perspective.

I know that for the changes we want to experience to occur in our lives, we need to have the security of a safe and brave space. The first step towards change is to ask for help and then for us to meet and get to know each other. living with more satisfaction and peace in your life may take some time and together we can take that first step
