Suffering from dehabilitating conditions such as depression, anxiety and low self esteem can have a devastating effect on your work and personal life. We can work with you to overcome issues such as; depression, OCD, PTSD, phobias, chronic pain, domestic abuse, intrusive or inappropriate thoughts, low self esteem and relationship issues. By helping you identify unhelpful thinking and behaviour patterns and make appropriate changes in these areas you can experience improvements and a greater sense of well-being in your day to day life.
SYCBT therapists offer CBT and EMDR as recommended by NICE guidelines for a range of emotional disorders including those mentioned. During one to one sessions of 60 minutes, you are assesed and a shared understanding of your problem is formulated. An individual and structured treatment plan is then developed which I will support you to work through.
SYCBT therapists are fully trained and either accredited or working towards BABCP accreditation. SYCBT is ethical and works in line with clinical governance.
