Hello, I am a qualified Clinical Psychologist and have 13 years of experience working in mental health services, in a variety of roles. I provide assessment and therapy for adolescents aged 12+ and adults of all ages. I provide specialist supervision to professionals, especially for psychosis. I particularly support people with anxiety, worry, panic, low mood, self-esteem, overwhelming emotions, stress, bereavement and loss, life changes, relationship difficulties, psychosis, eating difficulties, burn-out, non-epileptic attack disorder, and traumatic events. A male Clinical Psychologist works for me and also accepting new clients.
I often use a combination of models, and will work flexibly so that you make the most out of therapy. I only use evidence-based models, which means that they are heavily researched and deemed appropriate and effective. I particularly utilise CBT, ACT, EMDR, and CAT techniques. I also work as a Highly Specialised Clinical Psychologist in the NHS.
In our therapy sessions, we identify the patterns which unintentionally maintain the problem, and find ways together of living life differently so that you feel much more empowered and fulfilled. You may wish to focus on ‘here and now’ difficulties, and/or you may want to make sense of things which have happened in the past. This is completely your choice.
