About
If you feel low, stressed, lost, misunderstood, confused, vulnerable or just stuck, I can offer a safe space for you to talk about the things that are bothering you. I'll provide a space that offers non-judgement and empathy whilst you tell me what's going on for you right now. We'll discuss what you would like to get out of therapy or if you have any specific goals you would like to work towards. The amount of sessions you have will always be your choice. I can help by reflecting back to you any themes, patterns or behaviours that come up in our sessions to help you gain the understanding you may be looking for.
It's important to me that I am trauma informed in the way that I work. I believe in offering a calm and grounded environment for my clients. These are your sessions so I want to ensure the space feels safe and comfortable for you, I will always endeavour to make sure the lighting, temperature of the room, positioning of the seating etc works for you.
I understand that approaching counselling can feel daunting and scary. I also understand that when my clients contact me they may be in an incredibly low or vulnerable place in their life. Kindness is what I build my practice on, greeting with a friendly, welcoming smile and building a rapport between us to ensure you will get the most from your sessions.
