Counsellor, MBACP
SK Counselling is not currently accepting new clients.
Hello! My name is Sophie, and I am a Counsellor (MBACP) with a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counselling. My online practice offers individual counselling and group workshops via video call or phone call. Primarily, my experience involves working with young adults and teenagers who are dealing with concerns such as anxiety, low mood/depression, disordered eating, negative body image, and low confidence, self-esteem and self-worth. In addition to private counselling, I have worked at private and government funded eating disorder treatment facilities and university counselling services.
The relationship between you and I is the most important aspect of counselling. My integrative approach means that I use various interventions depending on your individual circumstances. As the expert of your own life, I would support you in identifying your thoughts, feelings and behaviours and understanding how they are affecting your everyday experiences.
If you're interested in working with me and would like a confidential and non-judgmental space to talk, explore your concerns, and develop self-awareness then please contact me to schedule an initial appointment. I also offer consultations free of charge if you would like to initially discuss whether working together would be an appropriate fit.
