Welcome, I'm Sophie, an experienced counsellor and UKCP trainee psychotherapist.
People come to counselling for many reasons. Maybe you have a goal for something you want to change, and need some support or a framework to get there. Or perhaps you’re experiencing feelings of emptiness and hopelessness, or a sense that something is ‘wrong.’ I offer a safe, accepting and non-judgmental space to bring whatever you choose to therapy. I specialise in working with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, existential fears, lack of confidence and bereavement. I also work with those experiencing pregnancy or fertility-related issues.
My training is known as Transactional Analysis, or TA for short. It offers an approach to explore and understand ourselves, our behaviours, our thought patterns and our relationships in an accessible and practical way. I work collaboratively and together we can find a direction or pathway for you to experience greater contentment and meaning in your life.
I work with individuals and couples on both a short-term and long-term basis. I offer weekly sessions, online or in-person from my practice in south-east London.
