I am passionate about promoting change through self discovery in a safe therapeutic relationship. I work with people to develop an understanding of any difficulties, looking to identify patterns and look for changes and alternative approaches. I am passionate about trauma informed therapy and have a strong ethos of the more we understand of ourselves, the more we have accessible to reflect upon, to change and to develop. I consider myself to be warm, approachable and friendly, always looking to create safe and supportive spaces for individuals to feel comfortable in.
I am able to draw on my experience working with a wide range of difficulties around anxiety, depression, OCD, stress, adverse childhood experiences, trauma, psychosis, personality difficulties, autism, eating disorders, and many other difficulties. I draw on CBT, CFT, CAT and other approaches, offering person-centred therapy carefully fit for you.
Whatever it may be that you are experiencing, I will offer compassion and empathy, providing a space for you to talk through things, for us to develop an understanding together. We are able to have a free initial phone conversation before moving forwards and can then meet face-to-face or online. I look forward to hearing from you.
