When life gets hard it can help to find someone who feels a bit like an anchor to weather the storms with, to feel emotionally held by, seen and understood. Someone who can support you to understand what you are feeling and why, to help you think about things through other perspectives and relate to yourself with compassion. Together we can try to make sense and meaning out of your experiences, connect with important parts of your identity and find ways of living that honour what is important to you in life.
I am passionate about working alongside individuals, couples and families throughout hard times in life such as in the face of physical illness, significant life changes and transitions, losses, grief, bereavement, mental health struggles and relationship difficulties. I offer a flexible supportive space where we can talk about what is important to you.
For me, the relationship is the most important aspect of therapy and I understand the importance of finding someone who feels like the right fit for you. We can have a telephone conversation to speak about what you are experiencing and whether I may be a good fit for you before we agree to meet for a session. I will be happy to answer any questions you have.
