You may be at a stage in your life where you are feeling disillusioned, depressed or anxious and unable to see the best way forward. Loss of sexual desire and a feeling of falling out of love can leave couples wondering whether they have a future. It may be that life changes such as starting a family or moving country have brought up differences which feel hard to address. As an individual you may be feeling lonely, stuck or unfulfilled, perhaps having trouble keeping relationships or jobs and wondering where you are going wrong.
I have specialised trainings in couple and individual psychotherapy and enjoy working with people from different backgrounds and cultures. I will work with you to develop a deeper understanding and acceptance of your thoughts and feelings. Couples can often start to reconnect through feeling heard by one another in the safe space of the therapy room.
I aim to create a non-judgmental space in which you can feel free to talk about issues you may not have felt able to address before. In couple therapy the relationship is the "patient", rather than one or other partner being to blame. While you may feel anxiety or even shame about starting therapy having a confidential space to talk can bring relief.
