Taking the first steps towards seeking help can be daunting. You may feel overwhelmed, frustrated or confused about how to initiate change and healing. In our therapy sessions, we will work together to explore your life experiences, challenges and emotions. This may take place in varying forms depending on what works for you. I am trained as Integrative Psychotherapist and Arts Psychotherapist so can adapt my way of working for you to find exactly what you need from therapy. A session may focus on looking at your childhood or past experiences, or it may be centred in here-and-now difficulties.
I am an empathic and adaptable psychotherapist with experience of working adults and young people (16+) with a diverse range of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, sexual abuse, domestic abuse, self-esteem, substance use, identity, neurodivergence, grief, relationship issues, and disordered eating. My experience is not limited to these areas.
Therapy can look different to everybody so whether we are talking or working creatively, I will work with you to deepen your understanding of yourself, explore your past and present, as well as process challenges and emotions. In this we decide together how long the therapy will last and if you have specific goals that will be the focus of our work.
