Hello! I am a chartered counselling psychologist with over 15 years of experience working with people with a range of different mental health problems. Since 2010, alongside my private practice, I have also been working for NHS primary and specialised teams and third sector organisations, being always up to date with NICE evidence based treatments and guidelines. I work with a wide variety of mental health problems such stress, anxiety, interpersonal difficulties, bereavement, depression etc, and I have a particular interest and experience in working with those affected by complex physical long term conditions and trauma.
Being a psychologist and having studied in a doctoral level, has given me the knowledge and experience to offer a range of interventions and psychological approaches to my clients, tailored and based on their needs. I have been trained in humanistic, psychodynamic and CBT therapies and I am specialised in CAT(cognitive analytic therapy) and EMDR.
Length of therapy is based on what a person wishes to work on so I offer both short term intervention and longer term therapy. I am passionate about my work and I aim to offer a safe space for people to come and discuss whatever issues and problems they are dealing with.
