I am an experienced psychodynamic counsellor with over two decades of experience working in education and supporting young people and adults with mental health. I qualified as a teacher in 2004 and completed counselling training in 2013. I use my counselling skills in pastoral support in secondary schools, in my role as a guidance teacher, and I offer counselling to adults and young people, in a 1-1 setting.
I have found counselling to be life changing for many people. It has enabled clients to understand themselves, their experiences, and their challenges from a different perspective, allowing for healing and personal growth.
I have broad experience working in a range of settings in education, private practice and agencies with both adults and young people. My work explores some of the routes of the feelings a person may be experiencing whilst exploring changes you may wish to make in your current life.
Whatever the issues you may be experiencing, please do reach out. Sessions will be tailored to what works best for you. I am compassionate and understanding; although this may be a difficult process, know that you will be heard, understood and supported throughout.
