Bienvenidos & Welcome - to Wise Oak Psychology, an intimate, online private psychology practice run by Dr Sofia Robleda, who has over 10 years’ post-doctoral experience in using a range of evidence-based approaches to support adults experiencing depression, anxiety, stress, relationship difficulties, and many other emotional and mental problems. Dr Robleda's values are to be compassionate, professional, and effective. She aims to support people to live a full, meaningful life in accordance to their values and beliefs, and to achieve this in as short a time as possible.
Dr Robleda has specialist expertise and training in supporting couples in distress, older adults, and people with brain injuries (and their families). She has published award-winning research in quality of life in older adults. She thrives when supporting people to break the chains of anxiety and fear that prevent them from living their most valued life.
Dr Robleda is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, culturally-sensitive, and evidence-based therapy environment. She provides online therapy in a non-judgmental, authentic, warm, respectful, pragmatic, and compassionate manner. She works mostly with adults but will happily see adolescents aged 16 years and over. She provides therapy in Spanish & English
