My name is Sam, I am a Person-Centred Counsellor and a registered member of the BACP. I understand how difficult the decision to seek counselling can be through my own experience. You may feel unsure whether it's the right move for your child and how long they can continue to cope on their own. So many questions you may have, you may feel you and your child are a burden to family and friends and don't know who to turn to. Worried about returning to school/college or starting a new one, impacts of Covid, social isolation, family issues and relationships causing anxieties and stress which may affect day to day life, I can help.
I can offer a safe, confidential space to support your child in overcoming difficulties. Working together, can help to identify the child's needs to empower their self belief. I am highly experienced working with children and young people, so understand how difficult talking may be and offer alternatives to reduce any barriers through Creativity and Play.
I can be relied on to offer support in a non-judgemental way, to feel valued and help your child break down their problems to work through traumatic situations at their own pace.
