I have extensive experience of working with a variety of issues, particularly those affecting women and bring a deep understanding and considerable empathy to my therapeutic work. Struggles with anger, child sexual abuse, self harm, anxiety, depression, sexual violence and domestic abuse, addictions, self esteem, cultural issues, identity issues, sexuality issues, eating issues and self confidence, PTSD and trauma.
I offer up a safe, non judgemental space where you as the client are placed at the centre of the relationship and strive to offer up a partnership where we work towards finding your voice and own solutions. Alongside 'talking therapy' I offer drawing, visualisations, metaphor, character work and the use of sand tray - when words or feelings cant be found.
I bring an in depth understanding of working across differences. My work is informed by my own life and it's fractures and I am passionately connected to the natural world and the wildness within ourselves, that is called forth by this relationship. I am an Equine Facilitated Psychotherapist and can also offer sessions with my two horses who live nearby.
