I believe that each therapeutic relationship is unique and deserves its own space and understanding. This means that as a Counselling Psychologist, I am trained in a variety of psychological approaches, including existential therapy, cognitive behavioural therapies, and the Maudsley Model of Anorexia Nervosa Treatment for Adults (MANTRA), allowing me to draw upon different approaches which might best suit you. Therapy gives us the chance to talk about experiences and feelings that are most distressing to us within a safe, private and confidential space.
I offer support to a wide range of mental and emotional difficulties and experiences, with a specialised interest in disordered eating/eating disorders. My aim is to fully understand all aspects of past experiences and present contexts to reflect on motivations for seeking support and to help you find meaning and survive difficult experiences.
I understand therapy itself can be a daunting experience and would like to support you on this journey by providing a safe, empathetic and compassionate space.
