I work using a variety of therapy models, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and person-centred approaches. We will work together to form a safe space in which we can explore your issues and try to help you find a way out of your current difficulties. I view ourselves as constant works-in-progress and understand that sometimes we become stuck in life and unable to find ways forwards. We will work together to discover which approach or approaches best suit you in order to help you become unstuck from your current situation.
From our very first meeting I will start to build a safe space in which we can explore your difficulties, and collaboratively work to understand the possible origins and factors that go towards maintaining your problems. Therapy can at times be challenging, which is why it is so important to create a space where you feel confident that change can occur.
Taking the first step towards seeking counselling or psychotherapy can sometimes feel like a daunting prospect and it is important that you feel comfortable in making the right choices. We can work together either on a short or long-term basis to help you find a way out of your current problems.
